Printing technology is in a state of revolution. Old technologies are rapidly
being displaced by equipment that is faster, more cost efficient and capable of
greatly enhanced quality. WhitMar is at the very front of this new technology.

WhitMar utilizes two methods for creating a job file. It can either be
downloaded directly from a Postscript, PDF or TIFF file, or scanned directly
from hard-copy originals. The result is what we call a "Digital
Master." It includes all of the text, line art and photos.
These Digital Masters are the "electronic art" that is the basis
for production and future composition changes. From the Digital Masters, photos,
drawings and line copy can be enhanced, sharpened, resized, cropped and scaled
by our powerful software. The job is then put into a production queue and
run...each page an original, clean, crisp and sharp!
The Digital Masters are stored optically at our production facility and can
be easily accessed for future printing. You need only produce the manuals,
reports, forms, etc., you actually need each time. Additional copies can be
produced with minimal setup time. Plus, alterations can be made without the
traditional costs and delays that were routine when dealing with the traditional
method of film, proofs and printing plates. With WhitMar you enter a new world
of "on-demand" printing.
